So, hi! I'm Larthan, and...

I'm glad to be given the chance to be a part of the team!

I know some of you might be wondering a bit about me, but well... there's actually not all that much!

I've lived my life on the notion that I should be as honest as I can be about myself. So here's my history in regards to Robyn and websites:

I met Robyn in Furry-Paws' beginning days. Robyn and I became friends, and as she built her way up on a game called Sim Stables (now named Animal Acres), and she learned the ropes of coding, I learned a little about databases and how to moderate. It was my wish to make the game a safe place for everyone who joined in.

There was also another site, Dragon Dynasty, I believe, that Robyn began to code, and I assisted with bug-finding and moderating for a long time.

Yes, it all took a downfall, and Robyn went away to learn more coding, and I went away to... well, to start my own life outside my family. I had in the meantime begun moderating on Mweor.com - another sim site run by Kahlem, the owner of Furry-Paws.

After three years of volunteer work, things caught up with me - the fact that the admin there didn't care to work with anyone, that there was an air of "the site should run on its own" and I didn't like that. There was nothing I could do to change it, and after repeated attempts to get the admin more involved, I gave in and resigned, thanking Kahlem for the experience she had given me.

Recently, I was approached by Robyn, who I've had the pleasure of getting to know again over the last year that I've been a member of this site (boy was I surprised to find out that the owner of the new site I was thoroughly enjoying, was the same dear friend I used to have)! She asked me if I would like to become an admin, what with my history with her and my eagerness to learn and make games I love to play, a better place for everyone to be. I wanted to make a difference, make people happy, fix problems that occurred that I couldn't before - and this was my chance! To be a part of a greatly involved administrative system that I wished the site before had possessed.

So there we are - I accepted the trial position, and I'm working diligently to learn my way around the database and try and be a better admin.

If you have any questions whatsoever for me, or want to know anything about me, just ask. I won't bite, I promise. :)

Also! Please, PLEASE leave me some commentary or criticism on the way I've handled things/am currently handling things - if there's anything I can do better, let me know! I can't stress this enough. I really want to know if I'm doing something wrong or neglecting to do something I should be doing. I'm still learning, and I'll always be learning, and Ala's system is new to me, so I know there's room for improvement on my part!
